Quezon Memorial Circle (mini-post) – February 5, 2012

It’s been a while since I’ve been to the Circle during the early morning. In fact it’s been a while in general. I used to bike around and in the circle a bit but walking around gives you a different perspetive. You see the hustle and bustle of folks going about their Sunday morning exercise routines and you get to notice the interactions that take place.

On the morning of November 13, 2011 right before the controversial Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 fight, I was browsing through Google Maps when I spotted the La Mesa Dam Eco Park. A few weeks earlier, my friend, Eufer, had posted some pictures when he went to the park. I was also looking for an interesting place to bring my dogs. So on this morning, I decided to take a quick trip to finally see the Eco Park which is somewhat nearby to where I live in Quezon City.

A couple of weeks ago, I read about Manang’s Chicken with a great back story. from an article which talled about the story of the owner, Jill, and her real-life “Manang” who had created a unique chicken recipe hyped as “Ang Bagong Fried Chicken ng Pinoy”.
