My experience at Sango was MEH! For the cost of a burger 3x that of the ever sacred Quarter Pounder. I would rather eat in a roadside Burger Machine which has more flavor than at Sango ever again.

I arrived on Easter Island at around 6am. The tour folk picked me up and settled me into my hotel. After having some breakfast and unpacking at the hotel, I set out on a 3 hour walk around the town of Hanga Roa. Food Tripping in SoCal–Feb 2012

I was supposed to attend a conference in Seattle, but due to a business opportunity the cropped up in Southern California (SoCal), I changed my plans and few south from San Francisco. My stay wasn’t for tour purposes, so I didn’t really visit anything of tourist, cultural, or recreational value. Chicken Rice Shop, Katipunan Avenue, Quezon City

As readers of my blog know, I have this constant quest for the perfect Hainanese Chicken and its many variants. Along South Katipunan (that is what I call the section of Katipunan past the Katipunan-Aurora Flyover nearer White Plains) on my way to work each morning -- and subsequently on my way home each afternoon/evening -- I pass by this new restaurant called “Chicken Rice Shop.” It is located in the same building where the Army Navy Burger and Burrito place is.
