Kanin Club, UP-Ayala TechnoHub, Quezon City

Without question, the best restaurant (and most unique) at the UP-Ayala TechnoHub Retail Center is Kanin Club. Fortunately for me, and us who work at the TechnoHub along Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City, the campus has one of three branches of Kanin Club. The other two are located at Paseo de Sta. Rosa, Laguna and Westgate, Alabang.

Knowing that Kanin Club is the single restaurant that is always full during lunch and dinner time, we proceeded to walk from the office at 11:30am. When we got there. the place had only three other tables occupied at this time.

This is hardly the first time I ate here. I have probably eaten here around a dozen times since I started going there a year ago.

We settled into our seats and ordered a few items. Depending on how many you are, it is always possible to order too much food… which is what always happen to me when I do the ordering. So this time, I deferred ordering.

Crispy Dinuguan

Crispy Dinuguan is probably the most famous dish associated with Kanina Club, and boy, is it DELICIOUS! There was a time during the meal when I noticed one waiter come out with 5 servings of the single dish meant for 5 different tables.

Unique to us during this visit is that we requested that the blood sauce be on the side. This is because one member the group is rather picky, that he wouldn’t be able to eat dinuguan as is. This was actually interesting for me to see how it would indeed look like.

It just smelled and tasted soooo right!

And of course rice!

I ordered a cup of brown rice

A big serving of Garlic Rice. Yes, it seemed big, pero naubos pa rin!

Aaaaah yum! Lunch was great, And of course our meal was so healthy.

And just to drive home the point. Here is the consequence of coming late…
