Mt. Pinatubo (again) – February 8, 2009

About a month after my first trip to Mt. Pinatubo, I went back to Mt. Pinatubo with a different set of friends. This time with Bong Zandueta, Binggoy de OCampo, Chris Aquino, and RJ Bumanglag.

It was of course different for me this time since I knew what to expect. For some reason the weather was beautiful and Pinatubo seemed a little more colorful. This time around, I spent more time at the crater.

Over all, it was another great trek with great friends. I guess in a certain way, it doesn’t matter how many times you go to a place, you can always get something new from it.

Does this mean I am done with volcanoes? Hell no… many more to explore.

UPDATE:

I would return once again to Mt. Pinatubo, this time, by air!
